WE NEED DONALD J. TRUMP AS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE
WHY McCARTHY IS NOT FIT FOR THE JOB
By Jan Halper-Hayes, Ph.D.
The choice is not difficult. Kevin McCarthy’s history of disloyalty, duplicity, and outright sabotage is presented here. Indeed, a positive case can be made for Trump assuming the speakership. Practically speaking, Trump is a disruptor who sees the solutions to issues well before most.
Numerous politicians and media personalities have suggested that Donald J. Trump should be elected Speaker of the House if Republicans regain control. The Speaker need not be an elected official. His proponents think it would be the most expedient way to get him back in the White House. As Speaker, he could initiate impeachment proceedings. If both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were impeached, the Speaker is 3rd in line for the presidency.
It’s a flawed premise. It shows no understanding of the principles for which Trump stands. Trump would never find a shortcut that excluded the will of the people. Moreover, it would put him the crosshairs of the media and every Never Trumper, RINO and Trump hating liberal.
Isn’t Congress the nucleus of everything dysfunctional about our government and how our politicians operate?
The speakership holds the ultimate decision as to the legislative direction. It would be very difficult for the media to ignore or try to hide Trump’s ability to get things done. Doing so would hurt all of Congress.
Trump would drive bi-partisan resolutions on issues that for decades have rolled over into the next election and the next election and so forth. The contrast between the legislative agenda of the Republicans and Democrats would paint a vivid picture as to who is on the side of the people. Should Democrats choose or refuse to find bi-partisan solutions, the media will no longer be able to provide cover. The Democrats destructive intentions would come into full view.
Trump has put his heart and soul into restoring America’s exceptionalism. As the blue-collar billionaire, Trump has never viewed or valued status over action. Those who value status, titles, positions above authenticity cannot imagine Trump agreeing to take a so-called lesser role in government. It is not a lesser role. It is a role that gives him the power and control to correct all things wrong without having to play the ugly game of politics.
With the midterms over the need for rallies is no more. Trump is without a consistent and visible platform. The speakership would give Trump an advantage, on a federal level, to showcase his incisive ability to cut through all things that have made our government a behemoth monstrosity.
When has any Speaker made any promise and had the ability to deliver. The media would be forced to report Congress’s accomplishments, led by Trump.
For Trump, the House has a vast investigative reach. The subpoena ability would provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the corruption, the lies, and above all, the facts. The people of this great country have waited long enough for the truth. The American people want nothing more than for Congress to hold the Saboteurs accountable.
The Congress, with Trump at the helm, has the most powerful motivating stick as the House controls the purse. If an agency doesn’t respond to the request, monies would be withheld. With Trump as Speaker, the pressure to respond to Congress’s requests for information or documentation could circumvent the habitual practice of ignoring, delaying, or proving incomplete documentation.
Now, we must speak of the new elephant in the room. The Media has given Governor Ron DeSantis the type of recognition, previously only lauded on Trump. By making DeSantis the new golden boy, the media wasted no time to use it as a cudgel to antagonise Trump.
DeSantis’s commanding and motivating communication style, plus his resistance to all things “Biden” presents a model of leadership backed up by major accomplishments. He exudes a confidence that comes from his strength as a leader. And it makes him a daunting opponent.
Trump opted for the image of nasty fighter. It turned many voters away. Trump cannot compete with DeSantis in the Endearing Image Arena. And why would he want to do so?
There is no one better as a role model and no one better to help the squishy feckless Republicans grow a backbone. Never give up and never give in is one of his guiding principles.
If Trump accepted the Speakership he would have more than a platform. He will be able to demonstrate that he is on the side of all American people regardless of their political leanings.
Hypothetically, if Trump declines the speakership, which, in turn, creates a daunting dilemma, who would be the right Speaker? Definitely NOT Kevin McCarthy!
McCarthy does not have the brains nor the spine to lead the Republicans in the current political climate. McCarthy’s past duplicity, treachery, and betrayals tell us all we need to know about his character. Our country needs a major overhaul. Though the final vote tallies are not in, Kevin McCarthy blatantly assumed the role is his.
Presumptively, his first motivating directive was to inform his caucus that they would not impeach Joe Biden. Republicans do not need a Speaker whose first decision is what they cannot do. McCarthy’s political persuasion is not in support of the “MAGA” platform. Despite his ass-kissing trips to Mar-a-Lago, Trump has been fully aware of McCarthy’s numerous acts of disloyalty.
Trump had allowed far too many saboteurs in the White House. We saw how the saboteurs thwarted his ability to lead. The new Speaker must be an America First politician. Countless times McCarthy tried deviously to weaken President Trump and the “MAGA” principles. He strategically funded non-America First candidates including those who voted to impeach Trump.
I grew up in California where a disproportionate number of “beautiful” people exist. Kevin McCarthy is a good looking man. However, McCarthy reminds of the type of man you might have heart palpitations over, but when he opens his mouth, you wished he kept it shut.
Every time I have been at a fundraising dinner, when Kevin McCarthy rises to introduce himself, it seems he has no legislative accomplishments to boast about. So, he tells the donors about his success as an entrepreneur at the age of 19. Then comes the chest beating that he, when first elected to Congress, was deemed one of the Young Turks. Voters at least booted Eric Cantor. Paul Ryan retired after 2 years of unsuccessfully attempting to betray then President Trump.
Remember McCarthy’s January 6th, 2021 rant on the House floor. He condemned Trump for causing the January 6th riot. McCarthy’s outburst on the House floor did not seem to feed his self-importance sufficiently. McCarthy, concerned the public had missed his damning peacock prance, castigating Trump, based on no confirmed evidence, McCarthy then issued a formal statement.
Two attempts to castrate his boss still didn’t fill that insatiable need for, who knows what. McCarthy renders himself impotent in the media’s eyes as he fabricated a supposed act of bravado claiming he told Trump to resign. CNN and the New York Times confronted McCarthy about making up his supposed claim that he advised Trump to step down immediately. I wonder if good ole boy Kev, on any of his Mar-a-Lago junkets, apologized for so wrongly concluding that Trump caused the events of January 6, 2021.
Not all of his underhandedness are solo acts. Some acts are committed with co-conspirators. Cunningness and treachery are the offsprings of deceit. McCarthy’s two-faced self-serving duplicitous acts are numerous. One, however, is so egregious that it provides the evidence as to why he should never be Speaker.
Our current border crisis is not solely the fault of Joe Biden and his administration. Two Republicans in leadership roles had an equal hand in violating the public’s wishes.
Building a wall to control illegal immigration was a pinnacle of Trump’s campaign. McCarthy joined forces with Senator Mitch McConnell to prevent Trump’s wall from being built. These traitors are as much to blame for the current migrant invasion.
Trump needed to prevent a government shut, which was a provision in the 1,700 page Great Border Security Compromise Act of 2019, McCarthy and McConnell intentionally inserted a fatal flaw. They took control away from Trump by giving the southern-border municipalities final say to nix wall construction on their turf for any reason they chose. The duo were well aware of the blue political leanings. https://tinyurl.com/mryerab2
If we want the assurance that Congress will be run with integrity and transparency, Kevin is not fit for the job.
If we want a Speaker who will ensure proposed bills support the MAGA platform,
Kevin is not fit for the job.
If we want a Speaker who respects and works with his fellow Republicans,
Kevin is not fit for the job.
If we want a Speaker who works on behalf of “we the people”,
Kevin is not fit for the job.
So, I ask: Who better to drive those with the congressional power to change the dysfunctional governmental operations? No one would be better than Donald J. Trump.
Dr. Jan Halper-Hayes is an internationally recognised expert in strategy and leadership and best-selling author. When Hillary and her chorus accused Trump of having the wrong temperament. Dr.Jan destroyed that argument with facts. Temperament and personality are mutually exclusive. Our personality adapts to circumstances. One’s temperament is innate: it’s part of our DNA.
